Today called for fresh air, sunshine, simple delights, joy and gratitude! It begged for playfulness…as a child would approach the day!

I find being playful and curious - childlike - is easy when I immerse, even loose my Self, within the folds of nature. Time vanishes…my attention is captured by new and interesting things to consider…my thoughts are focused… and I forget to recall anything from the past or project any stories into the future…I simply AM.

May you too, find something today that completely captures your attention and stimulates wonder and interest for deeper discovery! Can you loose yourself in it and forget everything else? Even your personal identity?!

Ohhhh, the benefits of such wild abandonment from problem solving, seeking something or managing the idea there is a shortage of time…that “we need to hurry”…slow down! You are already here!

Being mindful EVERY TIME we interact with nature includes having reverence for the plants life cycle and never foraging more than 30% of what’s available…doing so encourages healthy new growth (or assists with closing a cycle) and ensures the birds and animals food supply is not negatively impacted for our own benefits.

Having respect, appreciation and gratitude while interacting responsibly with nature also encourages healing between our human existence and the natural world around us.

And look! It only takes a little foraging to reap a big reward…THANK YOU Mother Earth, for supplying us with such incredible wild bounty!
