Times are tough. Gas, groceries, utilities, kids in general 😅

I know not everyone has insurance. Or maybe you’re wanting some help with latching, pumping or bottle feeding, weaning, etc but it’s just not in the budget. 💸

I am ALWAYS open for exchanges!

- facial, massage or spray tan
- mani/pedi
- car detailing
- local event tickets for kids events
- restaurant/ coffee gift cards

At the end of the day, women supporting women is where it’s at. If you have access to a service you think could offset the price of a consult, I bet you’re right 😘

Another day, another grad 🎓
In my feels about this sweet family who came to me following a premie delivery and NICU stay. You would never know now with his almost 14 pound self 😍
This sweet mama pushed through:
- oversupply
- latch issues
- dairy allergy
- tongue + lip tie (shoutout to 💜)
- body work for tension
- bottle difficulty

I know that God brings my patients to me and I’m so thankful for the friendships formed with them. Happy Graduation day, Rylie! I’m so proud of you guys! 👏🏻

Another day, another grad 🎓

This sweet boy + his precious mama have overcome:
- oversupply
- tension with
- dairy allergy
- latching difficulties

Today he left with a full tummy and gaining almost a pound this week, and mom is feeling comfortable + no longer engorged. Wins all the way around 🥳

This week, I traveled to Austin to learn from the wonderful Melissa Cole with 🤩 (seriously she’s goals!)

If you’ve booked with me, you know I’m constantly learning and growing my knowledge base to know how to best help my families. I cannot wait to implement the new information I learned regarding all the herbs to support you + your sweet babies! Catch me adding to my garden 🪏🤣🌿

I also want to highlight these beautiful ladies + friends pictured. We are all IBCLCs in the DFW area. There’s a lot to be said for a group of women who can meet up, share a house, and share laughs the way we did. No drama, no “competition”, just love and support. Because at the end of the day, what we care about is our moms. The way it should be! 🩷

With pregnancy + breastfeeding comes the targeted ads. I know you know what I mean. The “oh that’s cool, I should get that” and add to cart moment. 🛒

Reality? Most of that stuff doesn’t get used 🙈

Three of my favorite common household items to use during nursing/pumping: 🤱🏼🍼
• a warm MOIST hand towel. Think *brief* application prior to pumping or nursing
•frozen veggies 🌽 not for snacking, but for inflammation. Engorgement management after feeding or between feeds.
• coconut oil 🥥 a simple lubricant for fl**ges or fl**ge inserts

There ya go friend, just saved ya some money. 💰

Some weeks weigh heavy on you. Emotionally worn down + exhausted. Even with a job that means the world to you. But then there’s days like today. ☀️
Where you spend your consultation laughing with a new mom, singing along with the worship playlist she has on, and ending up covered in baby p**p ( I literally had to go get another pair of pants to put on) 💩Cue more laughter. 😅🙈
Sweet consults like this remind me exactly why God has me doing this job. Because even though my clients need me, I also need them. 🩷

Thank you Jesus for days with clients who are like sunshine.

A 2025 study reported that the prevalence of nurses being verbally abused was between 45-94%. Just a reminder that nurses are people too. Ugly behavior will not be accept or tolerated in consultations including the office. At the end of the day, every one deserves kindness + respect. Period.
