This is one of my favorite repeat clients. I have cleaned up a few of her older tattoos and the other day she asked if I could tackle this one. It was supposed to be special, sentimental and full of love. But the artist didn’t quite capture it and took some creative liberties she didn’t ask for. This re-work still has some shadows from what was there before but now represents her and her story so much better. And really the remnants of the old piece also reflect the current story of transformation. It’s beautiful, she is beautiful and this journey is beautiful.

This client sent me a past life reading he wanted this piece designed from. It turned out insanely gorgeous. We did a mini pull for the runes that were placed in the trunk of the tree today and will finish up in a month or so with a nebula behind everything to pull it all together. Love doing these pieces.
