Sometimes, anxiety can show up as irritability.

Have you ever felt irritable, or even frustrated, and you don’t know why? Sometimes, being irritated or frustrated can stem from being anxious. The next time you notice that you’re feeling irritated, try and take a breath, and name how you’re feeling. If you learn to recognize your emotions instead of reacting to them, you can figure out how to respond to them in a calmer way. 🤍

Mental health matters. Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to slow down and allow yourself to relax and recenter. If you need to take a break, do what you can to take it. You deserve to rest and slow down, ideally before you really need to. đź«¶

But what does healthy communication look like? The truth is, there’s a lot that goes into it, and it takes continuous effort from both partners to keep communication strong. It’s not just about talking, it’s about truly trying to listen to understand your partner, and being aware of their needs. There has to be openness and honesty from both sides in order to communicate effectively. 🤍
