1. Apply Ice First, Then Gentle Heat - Use an ice pack for the first 24–48 hours to reduce inflammation.

*After that, switch to moist heat (like a warm towel or heating pad) to ease muscle tightness.

2. Support Your Neck - Use a supportive pillow when sleeping—ideally one that keeps your neck neutral, not bent.

*Avoid sleeping on your stomach as it twists the neck.

3. Keep Gentle Movement - Rest is important but avoid holding your neck stiff for too long.

*Slowly turn your head side-to-side or tilt ear-to-shoulder to keep mobility and prevent stiffness.

4. Watch Your Posture - Keep screens at eye level, shoulders relaxed, and avoid slouching.

*Poor posture can aggravate whiplash symptoms and slow recovery.
