Having received a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Lamar University, a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Howard University, and currently pursuing his PhD in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical Expertise, Warren Miller embodies a careful mixture of intelligence, insight, visionary spirit and common sense. Practicing a combination of behaviorism, psychodynamic, humanistic and existential theory, his work focuses on taking one’s attention off the self and placing it selflessly onto others--an awareness of oneself in the context of other people. Essentially, it is the intellectual identification with, or vicarious experiencing of, the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another. Warren Miller's deep commitment toward his work and genuine desire to help others, continues to guide his practice.
