Compensation: Based on Experience
The Medical Receptionist will provide exceptional customer service to patients while maintaining an organized front desk. Must be a dependable, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual who should have flexibility within their schedule.
Job Description;
-Welcoming patients and answering phone lines in a friendly and professional manner while always providing superior customer service.
-Preparing patient Superbills, scheduling patient appointments, and collecting and posting payments.
-Maintaining accurate, updated patient information in the electronic medical records.
-Confirming appointments with patients, as well as notifying them if there are any changes in the schedule.
-Check in/out patients
-Create new patient accounts and maintain each patients electronic medical record
-Answer telephone/retrieving messages.
-Maintain the waiting area, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for new and returning patients.
-Organize schedules for Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
-Handle cash and batch reports
-Balance payments and Batch the end of every shift
-Comply with HIPAA regulations
-Check patients insurance eligibility
-Become acquainted with various treatments offered by each Doctor, Physician Assistant

Job Requirements
-2+ years working in a medical office.
-Must be able to multi-task
-Detail-oriented
-Solid computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word & EMR
-Ability to keep up and work within a fast-paced environment.
-Spanish Speaking a MUST
-Commitment to excellence and high standards.
-Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
-Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
-Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
-Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace and be Bilingual in Spanish
-Knowledge of medical terminology helpful
