Ever wonder what mad-scientist Robin concocts in his laboratory? Well, here's your answer! Today, we proudly open puddle wonderful's sister website, abstractvideoclips.com. On this new site, you will find over 250 video clips, each about 30 seconds long, each 100% "hand-made," harvested straight from the camera with no computer enhancement. All of the clips are available for licensing at modest rates. We envision them being used in credit rolls, transitions and wipes in film & video productions, as well as in advertisements and in video "wallpaper" in commercial spaces. We think they'd make beautiful illustrations for music videos and even in live music venues. Feel free to pass along the link to anyone who might be interested in adding a little organic, free-range video goodness to their productions!

Just in time for the blizzard, Robin illustrates this gorgeous ambient track by French musical artist, Fingers In the Noise, using his latest micro-meteorology captured on video! Special thanks to Laurent for letting us use his music.

This evocative, ambient track is "Plenitude" by Fingers in the Noise (Laurent Bisch). The video was shot by Robin Burnett using a Nikon D3s. There are no computer-generated effects.

Robin here. Being clumsy, I jostled a concoction I was videotaping - and noticed the surface vibrated in an interesting way ..... which lead to a bunch of fiddling about ..... which lead to my tearing apart an old speaker - down to just a shard of speaker cone. I then connected the speaker cone to the audio out from my computer, and aimed the speaker cone straight up. I put a small amount of black ink in a thin plastic plate and swirled in a bit of cream. I set the plate atop the speaker cone and side lit it. Then I played various tones. This is the result. Soon I am hoping Beth will write a track such that this setup dances in interesting ways to her music.
