THIS THURSDAY is the FINAL DAY to donate and support our Holiday Celebration & Toy Drive 🎁❄🎊

This is one of our favorite events to put on each year and we need your help to make this year's the best yet!

We are accepting donations of new and gently used, unwrapped, gender neutral toys and gifts for children ages 1-12, wrapping paper, gift tags, and paper goods. Donations can be dropped off at the clinic during the hours listed below from now through Thursday, December 11.

Today is ! GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: A day that encourages people to do good. Over the years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to donate, volunteer, and spread awareness.

No one should have to decide between feeding their family, heating their home, or being able to afford high quality and compassionate healthcare. We have stayed true to our mission and have grown and evolved to meet all challenges that stand in the way of providing equitable healthcare to all uninsured Rhode Islanders, but we need help from generous and altruistic individuals like you as we brace for the impact of sweeping healthcare cuts from the federal government.

This Thanksgiving season, we would like to give thanks for our incredible volunteers!

There aren’t enough languages to say ‘thank you’ in that would accurately express our gratitude for our volunteers. The clinic was founded by a group of passionate, altruistic volunteers who saw a need for high-quality, linguistically-appropriate healthcare in the community. All of our volunteers embody that passion and belief that healthcare is a human right.

Our volunteer medical providers see hundreds of patients each year during primary and specialty care visits at the clinic. CEHC’s volunteers help patients during their visits, vaccinate our community against COVID-19, flu and other diseases at outreach events, distribute food and other supplies to community members, interpret and scribe for our providers, and so much more!

The entire Clínica Esperanza team wants to say THANK YOU to all of our current and past volunteers – YOU make this work possible! 💛🌻

Happy Thanksgiving! The clinic will be closed Thursday and Friday so our staff and volunteers can spend time with their loved ones. There will be no CHEER clinic, vaccines or provider visits available. Have a safe and happy holiday! 🧡🍂🦃

CEHC is featured in the Winter 2025 edition of RXinsider's 20Ways publication! Our very own volunteer pharmacist, Joseph Honig, PharmD, CDOE, AE-C wrote about CEHC’s volunteer-run pharmacy clinics and how they’ve grown over the past few years to include pharmacy residents which has helped to expand capacity while also training the next generation of pharmacists. Thank you to Joe and his whole team for their continued dedication to our patients and the clinic’s mission!
