Arbor Hill Assisted Living is located in the heart of historic Federal Hill area in Providence and provides housing and services for seniors of modest means. It is a fully licensed assisted living facility in the state of Rhode Island and is a member of the Rhode Island Assisted Living Association and LeadingAge RI. It offers assisted living facilities with housing units for one to two persons with full dining, personal care and medication assistance, health services, housekeeping, laundry and transportation as well as a wide-variety of planned activities and outings. Services at Arbor Hill are provided with the goal of giving residents the opportunity to maintain independence with dignity and respect in a caring community, in a place that truly feels like home.

Michael, Christina and Sonia from AdviniaCare visited Arbor Hill yesterday for an ice cream social. We're grateful!! For those residents who couldn't come to the activities room, we made the rounds on the floors and brought the cool treats to them. Ice cream makes everyone smile!

We found an awesome farm in Wakefield RI called Gentle Farm. Pam, the owner, offers visits FREE to the public and does one-on-one visits which our Arbor Hill residents enjoyed yesterday. Check out these photos of mini horses, donkeys, lots of chickens that lay fresh eggs daily, rabbits, and goats! We went to Ninigret Park in Charlestown afterwards for an outdoor picnic. What an amazing day!

This past weekend, Arbor Hill residents went to the RI Convention Center in Providence for Mayor Smiley's "Age-Friendly PVD" day in the city. We had food, fun, dancing, raffles, and lots of vendors giving away free stuff. Met the Big Nazo Puppets, too. Lou J. won a $25 gift card to Walgreens - congratulations!
