Blue Cross brought pumpkins, paint and carving tools over to Arbor Hill Assisted Living recently so our residents could make centerpieces for the tables in the Dining Room. Check out their creative work in these colorful photos.

Our Fall days are filled with lots of activities. We visited Pastor Michelle and her church, Wesley United Methodist in Lincoln, for an adorable pumpkin craft-making session. Then we had 30 Classical students come to hang out with our residents. They brought pretzels, candy and ice cream. We love their weekly visits!

We took advantage of the great Fall weather recently to visit Pezza Farm and make a scarecrow. The residents named him "Freddie" and took him back with us to Arbor Hill! There was a petting zoo at the Farm and everyone enjoyed a picnic watching the cows and other animals while eating. A wonderful day - check out our photos!

Welcome back to our Brown University students for this new semester. We introduced ourselves, sang karaoke, and did some adult coloring together. They will be visiting Arbor Hill Assisted Living regularly each week as part of their curriculum work, and we are looking forward to it.

Fun times at Oak Street Health on Broad Street in Providence! Our residents got invited to play Bingo and each received a f***y pack and water bottle with sunglasses. We packed lunches and had a great afternoon.

We invited residents from our sister community, Gardens, to enjoy a Petting Zoo here at Arbor Hill. Special thanks to Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI for funding the event and also taking blood pressure readings. The pet therapy and interaction with such cute and cuddly animals had such a positive effect on everyone's mood!

This past weekend, we brought Arbor Hill residents to Chelo's in Smithfield for lunch. They ordered off the menu, ate well, and had a blast.

Michael, Christina and Sonia from AdviniaCare visited Arbor Hill yesterday for an ice cream social. We're grateful!! For those residents who couldn't come to the activities room, we made the rounds on the floors and brought the cool treats to them. Ice cream makes everyone smile!

Went to Lang's Bowlarama in Cranston for a fun bowling outing, and finished up the day with an outdoor picnic at Goddard Park. Another great day with our Arbor Hill residents!
