Pappas Center for Breast
Imaging.
WomanCare is offered to
women aged 21 and older.
No medical insurance is
required. Transportation
assistance, language

Every year, we recognize the devastating toll that overdose has had on our communities, reminding us both of our collective grief and our collective responsibility. The 2025 theme is in line with the core values of Rhode Island, where six degrees of separation connect families, and where we live by our state motto of ‘Hope’. When hope becomes action, we create change and save lives. We are proud to be in a state that is leading the charge to implement evidence-based solutions to this crisis. In addition to pausing to reflect on the losses, we want to share our gratitude for those who work every day to make unnecessary in the future.

Every life lost to overdose is one too many. This month, we honor those we’ve lost, support those still struggling, and educate our communities on how to prevent overdose.

Last Tuesday, Flatbread Company Providence generously hosted us for a night of delicious food, exciting raffles, and connection with our community. We had a very successful fundraiser that will allow us to keep providing direct assistance to the people we serve so they can remain engaged in treatment.
