I am always working to stay at the forefront of the healthcare industry. I work hard to offer the highest quality in conservative treatment options in Providence, RI. As the healthcare industry changes, insurance co-pays are only getting higher and it has become an increased priority for individuals to be proactive with their healthcare. Just as important as seeking treatment early on when a painful problem begins, it is important to seek regular treatment to improve the presence of movement dysfunctions that lead to injury and pain overtime. The CPC, Inc. approach is simple; I assess your movement with a whole body perspective, apply appropriate therapies to improve your joint and muscle flexibility and can support your strengthening efforts with physician guided personal training. How will you know what to treat if I am not in pain? The functional movement assessment and treatment approach practiced at CPC, Inc allows me to identify and treat current movement dysfunctions that lead to injury over time. I use a system of evaluation called the SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Screen) and FMS (Functional Movement Screen) to assess the quality of your movement in all areas of your body. These movement assessments are specific and reproducible, they are used to guide therapy over time even without the presence of pain. mantra is Prepare & Train, I feel strongly that preventative healthcare is the best approach to support your active life & training. Methodologies include:

Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
Functional Movement Systems (FMS)
Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)
Active Release Technique (ART)
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Treatments
Soft tissue/ massage/ myofascial techniques

Treatment goals:

Increase flexibility
Increase coordination
Improve stability
Increase strength
Decrease threat perception

I cater to a wide range of individuals. Some patients are either currently injured and looking to remedy painful areas. Others are looking to clean up movement patterns with a goal to ultimately maximize performance. Common injuries and ailments I typically deal with include but are not limited to:

Low back pain, Hip impingement, Shoulder impingement, Sciatica, Rotator cuff injuries, Neck pain, Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), Golfers’ elbow (medial epicondylitis), Metatarsalgia, Plantar fascitis, Ankle sprain

If you are looking to simply increase flexibility in areas that are stiff, gain your stability back, or improve your balance and posture, this office provides a one-stop-shop. Whether you are struggling with chronic pain or arthritis, or simply looking to incorporate a deeper level to your training, I am here to help you.
