Dear Patients,
In following the American Dental Association guidelines, guidelines from the Rhode Island Dental Association, and in accordance with following the advisement of our Governor, our office will be open on May 11th.
We want to assure you that our office is following every recommendation and taking additional steps to provide both our patients and staff with the highest quality care in the safest environment possible.
As you come into the office you’ll notice the following changes:
• All staff and all patients will be wearing a mask at all times.
• Patients are asked to wait in their cars until they are called to
enter the office for their appointment.
• All patients and staff will have their temperatures taken and a series of health questions reviewed prior to entering the office.
• Glass Barriers have been installed between patients and front desk receptionists.
• Our office is now equipped with UV-C Lights in every operatory, restroom, and in our air ventilation system.
• 4 Medical Grade filtration units with HEPA filters are placed throughout the office.
• 4 High evacuation units with HEPA filters are in the dental operatories to minimize any aerosol contamination during dental procedures.
Our office will be opening in phases.
The first phase will consist of any dental emergencies (pain, swelling, fractures).
We will also be prioritizing non aerosol procedures.
Hygienists with perform routine prophylaxis only. Any patient who needs an exam will schedule a separate appointment with the doctors.
Our office hours during this first phase will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am – 1pm.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together during this difficult time.
