Dr. Thomas is a board certified foot and ankle physician and surgeon that has been practicing in a family clinic in the Salt Lake area for the past 7 years.
Working in a family practice had Dr. Thomas caring for patients from infancy to older adulthood, giving him a wealth of experience that he looks forward to utilizing as he serves our broad spectrum of patients at the Foot and Ankle Center.
He loves building relationships with his patients and helping them overcome the unique variety of issues that he sees as a podiatrist, from fracture care to foreign body removal to ankle arthroscopy.
Originally from southeast Idaho, Dr. Thomas is happy to be in Cache Valley where he loves to spend time outdoors with his wife and six children.

Now focussing on podiatry, Ben will be seeing our patients for a variety of needs including routine foot exams, diabetes management, ingrown toenail and fungal nail care, post-operative exams, infusion therapy, and more.

Here Dr.Huff quickly removes a fungal toenail that had long been causing pain and discomfort for this patient.
A non permanent nail removal like this one, called an avulsion, gives opportunity for new nail growth. Fungus is stubborn and hard to get rid of, but with help from various fungal treatments while the new nail grows, hopefully this patient will see a much healthier nail in a few months. 👍

Ingrown toenail removal…in miniature! 👶👣
This little baby came in with some sizable ingrown toenails, making crawling and bouncer time rough!
Ingrowing toenails can be an inherited genetic problem, making children and babies susceptible to them. Here Dr. Willmore removes an ingrown nail from an infant’s toe, but don’t worry— this baby didn’t feel a thing (thanks to a little local anesthetic) and happily watched nursery rhyme videos while the doctor worked. 👍
