Doctors of Acupuncture Mary Claire Dilks, Sarah Karsmarski and Charlotte King offer customized acupuncture and herbal treatment to meet your individual needs and have extensive education and experience to treat patients in conjunction with other medical treatments or as the sole modality. We participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, Tufts, Cigna and Neighborhood. Patients should check directly with their insurance provider to verify coverage. Herbal Medicine and supplements are an additional cost. Additionally, our Licensed Massage Therapist, Kate Waters, offers deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage, and holistic massage and is available afternoons and evenings Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. ⁣In 1999, the zen temple I attended in Chicago was an anchor, a place of grounding and peace. ⠀

It was so helpful for navigating the intense anxiety I felt around that time. ⠀
⠀
What resonated with me so much in Japan was the peacefulness I felt as I visited the temples and the remembrance of the zen temple and Samu Sunim in Chicago. It was hard to leave; it felt so grounding, like home. Even at the super crowded Senso-Ji in Tokyo (I avoided the mobs of tourists taking selfies in this pic), it was peaceful, I was grounded, and I hated to leave.

Our Doctors of Acupuncture use Traditional Chinese style acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatment for almost any condition including back pain, sciatica, acne, women's health concerns and fertility, digestive disorders, neck pain, migraines, eczema, hot flashes, insomnia, rosacea, anxiety, pediatrics, psoriasis and more. Dr. Mary Claire Dilks, Dr. Sarah Karsmarski, and Dr. Charlotte King have extensive training with thousands of hours of training and many years of experience for safe and effective treatments.

Because we treat the whole person, we take all of your symptoms into account. We will customize your acupuncture and herbal treatment to meet your individual needs. Our Doctors have extensive education and experience enabling them to treat patients in conjunction with other medical treatments or as the sole modality.

We take the time to find the cause of your health issue and not just treat the symptoms. Appointments are in a private setting, with hours available seven days per week including evenings. We offer visits via Telehealth for those who find it more convenient. In addition, Dr. Dilks has extensive post-graduate training in Chinese Herbal Medicine and completed a Dermatology Diploma with a world renowned Chinese Medicine Dermatologist from England. She offers custom blended herbal medicines to treat a wide range of conditions including dermatological problems such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, and more. Your insurance may cover acupuncture. Patients should check directly with their insurance provider to verify coverage. Our providers are contracted with many insurance plans, so ask your insurance company if your provider is in network.

Herbal Medicine and supplements are an additional cost, and custom recommendations are available to patients through an online portal offering high quality supplements at a discounted price.
