Hello everyone! As some of you may know, I struggle with severe panic disorder. It can be incredibly overwhelming and debilitating at times, but I have learned some helpful tips for dealing with it.
One tip that has been really useful for me is to practice deep breathing exercises. When a panic attack starts to come on, I try to focus on taking slow, deep breaths and counting to ten. This helps me to calm my racing thoughts and slow my heart rate.
Another helpful tip is to remind me that the panic attack will eventually pass. I try to remind myself that even though it feels overwhelming and intense at the moment, it is not a permanent state and it will eventually subside.
If you struggle with panic disorder, I encourage you to reach out to a mental health professional for support. There are also many online resources and support groups that can be helpful. Remember that you are not alone and there is help available.
