Earlier this week our Parents as Teachers (PAT) program held a Little Leaves & Friends event for families! Families got to participate in story and create one-of-a-kind art pieces. Creativity was definitely in the air!

Elbows were flying (the macaroni kind) at Feed RI’s Mission Impastable! We jumped into the action with 34 other teams and came out 4th; not too shabby for our debut. The best part? Helping make a difference in the fight against food insecurity in Rhode Island.

We are proud to celebrate Beverly Brindle, longtime Meeting Street physical therapist, as the 2025 Honoree of the American Parkinson Disease Association, Rhode Island Chapter Walk & 5K Run. For 46 years, Bev supported children and families with compassion and expertise, and our Early Intervention workroom is named in her honor. Even in retirement, Bev continues to inspire as a familiar face at our Telethon check-in! Her legacy reminds us of the lasting impact one person can have on a community.

The apple fun at The Schwartz School didn’t stop at apple picking, our students explored science with apple volcanos! A big thank you to Dartmouth Orchards for welcoming our small groups and generously donating apples and pumpkins. We’re so grateful for community partners who make learning this exciting.
