grateful today for: modern medicine & my psychiatrist! You know I’m very open about my mental health on here. No shame at all!! I’m starting a new ADHD Med next month and I’m super excited! I also found out I’m supposed to time my other meds right and I’ve just been lazy!!!! But I’m excited for this next month to see changes for myself. Grateful for my psych doc to always be supportive and open with me!

Happy National Eating Disorder Awareness Week! I probably am the worst at posting on this account but I want to share some stuff this week! First being how I avoid binges:
#1 GO FOR A WALK
This is huge for me! It’s best if I go outside but with it being freezing outside it’s hard but even bundling up and literally getting out of my environment helps + fresh air!
#2 ICE ROLL MY CHEST!!! This has been a more recent thing I’ve started doing but this helps calm me down. Because binges don’t just happen randomly. Something triggers it! So doing this helps calm my anxiety!
#3 TALK TO MY HUSBAND! Find a support system. 🥹💗
#4 DRINK SOME WATER! Or a Diet Coke ;) It really does help!
#5 (this isn’t on here) but ask myself what do I need right now that will satisfy the emotions I’m feeling instead of coping with food???? .

I know I told you all yesterday that I want my word for 2023 to be more disciplined. In EVERYTHING. but I want to tell you my goals on what I’m going to be disciplined with. .
#1 : stop letting my bad body image days affect my mood. I used to be so good at this! I need to start asking myself again “what do I really need?” Because friends- FAT! IS! NOT! A! FEELING! Maybe I need to put on more comfortable clothes, maybe I need to get fresh air or maybe I need to eat something! Or drink water! Your thoughts are so powerful and ladies in 2023 we are not letting our negative thoughts control our day! 🙌🏻
#2 LIFT HEAVY! I feel so bad ass when I lift weights! It’s so cool to see what my body can do! I want to show my daughter that it’s cool to be strong!
#3 reminding myself that confidence comes from within. Not the number on the scale. Because! You are more than a number! 🤟🏻
#4 stop spending so much on eating out 😂 that includes swig drinks… 😤😭🫠 I love cooking and I have food at home! I want to save money!
#5 get outside more in the winter! Either snow shoeing or just going on a walk or playing in the snow with Olivia!
#6 not caring about what others think of me!

Happy New Year!! I love the fresh start of a new year: I like to always set goals but I have a lot and I’m super motivated to accomplish them! I also am going to set a word for my new year. Disciplined. I want to be disciplined in all I do! Not just my health and fitness goals. But spiritual goals, financial goals, etc. I love the new year and I’m already hitting my goals of things I want to do!
