‼️Benzoyl Peroxide: A Primer

👉🏻Any type of inflammatory/infected acne--think the big mean red cystic looking ones--will benefit from Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO).

👉🏻It has a strong effect on the bacterial cause of acne and a lessor but still noticeable effect on pore plugging. To a far lessor degree it will improve oil and inflammation.

👉🏻However, it can cause irritation. That's why for full facial use the two types of BPO we offer in our clinic are 5%. We recommend the 10% to be used sparingly (if at all and only for limited spot use). Our favorite BPO is formulated with many botanicals to help the face tolerate the BPO. That's why we ❤️ it!
