“I never expected to become a massage therapist, but four years ago I was little more than a walking co**se suffering from severe autoimmune disease and mental illness. I found healing through alternative means—herbs, acupressure, energy work, and massage therapy. Now that I’ve experienced profound healing for myself, I want to share that gift with others. I strive everyday to create light and healing in those around me through my work as a massage therapist, artist, and writer, with a specialty in healing trauma and mental illness. “Hi my name is Karin! I’m a massage apprentice as well as a student of traditional Chinese medicine.

I’m proud to be the victor in a decade long battle with chronic illness. Having spent countless hours and resources going through the “normal” methods of getting better I finally shifted my focus. Going from dead and broken patterns to modalities that promote life I was able to entirely reverse all my symptoms in an astonishingly short time.

Because of my experience I’ve come to believe that healing doesn’t exist exclusively behind cutting edge modern insights nor behind staggering paywalls. Sometimes healing can be as simple as asking how to be better than you were of those just a bit further down the path than where you are now.

I’m seeking to become a master healer in my home, community, culture, and country. I aim to dismantle every barrier I can that’s been erracted to exclude those engaging in the basic human need of improving one’s health. “I’ve been drawn to massage and healing practices since I was young. Over the years, that curiosity deepened as I explored yoga, reiki, meditation, and other mind–body disciplines. Through my own healing journey, I’ve learned how powerful safe, intentional touch can be and massage became a natural way for me to offer that same care to others.

As an apprentice, I’m enjoying learning new techniques and discovering my own intuitive style of bodywork. I love creating a calm, supportive space where people can unwind, release tension, and feel truly cared for.

Outside the treatment room, I’m a dancer, musician, artist, and passionate home chef. I feel most at home in nature climbing, hiking, camping, or easing into a good cold plunge.”

“Hello friends my name is Hallie, I’m a massage apprentice from lehi Utah! I am so excited for this journey and the opportunity to provide healing! My massage journey started a couple years ago when I discovered my spine is fused to my pelvic bone creating little mobility and extreme pain. I knew little to nothing about massage therapy and quickly saw the positive effects. My passion is to provide healing as I’ve been provided, I strive to give a meaningful experience where you can fully let go, relax, and have any discomfort eased.
I thrive in the sunshine and being outdoors with the people I love. I just recently discovered a love for the outdoors and have pushed myself far out of my comfort zone, creating new experiences and figuring out things that make me happy. All of my experiences these past few years have shown me how important healing is physically and mentally.“

“My names Hal, I’m an aspiring massage therapist from Highland, Utah. I’m someone who feeds off being one with the earth, whether it be backpacking for months on end, forgetting to wear shoes, or being in awe of each sunset.

The time that I’ve spent outside and the time I’ve spent pushing my body has taught me that it is important to value healing. I’ve gravitated toward massage because of experiences I’ve had in the past that have forced me to slow down and breathe.
