✨The one and only Dr. David Smith✨

We welcomed Dr. Smith to our crazy crew 7 years ago this summer! Dr. Smith served our Country as a Dentist in the army for several years before joining private practice life here in Utah. At our office he is known for his ability to do the fastest Extractions in town!

His major strengths are his easy going demeanor and his kindness. He puts patients at ease with his soft spoken bedside manner.

We also love his humming and singing to all the songs that play in the office. If you hear someone snapping their fingers or playing a tune down the hall it’s usually him! 🎤🎵

This picture is of Brooke our Dental Hygienist and Preston, a VIP patient 😄 The thing we love about this picture is how we have been a part of the journey for these two. Brooke has been an assistant for us for 3 years and is now our full-time hygienist; and might we add she is absolutely killing it! 👊Preston was an assistant for us for 4 years and has recently just finished his first year of Dental school in Kentucky and came back to visit! It’s so fun to see our staff succeed and grow and reach their goals! It is such an honor for us to be included in the journey. We love these two! 🫶🦷🪥

Do you ever feel lost when you are calling in to the dentist?

This is a typical call we get….

“Hi this is John I need to make an appointment.”

We definitely want to help you make that appointment but we will have to find out a little more information to schedule you for the correct type of appointment.

Are you looking for a dental cleaning or do you have a specifics issue or area of concern you would like addressed?

If you have not had a dental cleaning in the last 6 months we are going to recommend you have that done with us in order for the Doctor to have a clean line of site to any problem areas. At a dental cleaning you will have the following done:

1️⃣ Prophylaxis (dental cleaning) by your dental hygienist
2️⃣ Perio charting- the hygienist will check that your gum tissue is healthy and free of deep pockets which hold bacteria and cause gingivitis.
3️⃣ Dental x-rays, which are the only way to properly diagnose cavities in between your teeth (where most decay is found)
4️⃣ Oral health care instructions, given by your hygienists to help you with any areas they might see you may need improvement in.
5️⃣ An exam with the doctor to check for decay, cracked teeth, oral cancer or any other problems related to oral health.
6️⃣ Application of topical fluoride, an optional service recommended by our Doctors, to strengthen tooth enamel.

In an approximately one hour appointment you can have all of this done and get the peace of mind that you are taking care of a very important aspect of your health!

How to best care for your teeth, keeping them healthy AND beautiful! 🤩
