"After getting married in 2016, we dreamed about the day we would one day grow our family. After what seemed like endless months of no success, we turned to Conceptions for help in 2019. Our team was amazing and did everything they could to help us have a baby. However, after a couple years of testing, procedures, IUIs, miscarriages, and four rounds of IVF, we were still unable to bring a child into this world. We were devastated and ready to give up. After taking a break from all treatment for a few months, Dr. Moore suggested we try one more surgery and IVF cycle. We were hesitant, but decided to give it one last shot. The surgery proved to be a great success and in our subsequent cycle of IVF, we were able to freeze more than double the amount of embryos than we did in our first cycle. Our very first embryo transfer with this new batch of embryos brought us our perfect, beautiful baby girl. Becoming parents to our sweet daughter has been everything we ever dreamed of and more. We are forever grateful to our team at Conceptions who never gave up on us!"

Thank you, Kristen, for sharing your story with us! Your constant hope inspires us, and we're grateful for the chance to walk with you through your fertility journey.

Some signs of fertility burnout don’t look like what you’d expect.

Not crying—but numb.
Not overwhelmed—but checked out.
Not hopeless—but too tired to hope.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind you: your mental health is just as important as your hormones, your charts, and your appointments.

Protect it. Prioritize it. Talk about it.
We’re here for all of it—with compassion and care. 💬

If you’ve never walked the road of infertility, it can be hard to understand.

That’s okay.
This week is your invitation to listen, learn, and show up with more empathy. Because someone close to you—maybe even someone who hasn’t told you yet—is carrying this. Quietly. Bravely.

Here are some of the things people navigating infertility often wish others understood.

"As a two mom family, we were a little nervous about starting our fertility journey in Utah but knew we wanted to do IVF because we were in our mid-30s and wanted more than one baby. I happened to find Conceptions online and wasn't sure about a clinic in Provo being supportive of a le***an couple. But from our first call, it was a welcoming experience. I could actually talk to a nurse or coordinator on the phone and when we ran into anything confusing, the team would work quickly to get us answers. Getting pregnant wasn't quite as straightforward as we hoped but Dr. Moore and the team were amazing through multiple egg retrievals, a chemical pregnancy and finally us graduating from the clinic when our second transfer stuck. It felt like everyone who works there knew us and were cheering us on and that made everything about the IVF process just a little bit easier. We're loving life with our wiggly, always smiling 8 month old daughter!"

Thank you, Kallen and Emily, for sharing your story with us. We're so grateful you found and chose us to help grow your family!

"My husband and I got married in 2020 and immediately had the desire to be parents and have a family of our own. We were older when we got married and knew we needed to get started right away.

Our story is a little different and unique in that we actually got pregnant with our first child in 2007. At that time we were young and not ready to be parents so we made the difficult decision to place our daughter for adoption. Because we had gotten pregnant so easily and unexpected back then, we figured it would be easy again! Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

After about a year of trying we did get pregnant, however that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Feeling so heartbroken and lost we met with a different fertility clinic. It was not a positive experience and we did not feel heard in our concerns. After a few months of medicated cycles, we decided to explore other options. A friend recommended Dr. Moore at Conceptions and after meeting with him we immediately felt hopeful. After a couple more months of medicated cycles we decided to try an IUI and it worked! In June 2022 we welcomed our sweet rainbow baby boy.

When he was about one we knew we wanted to try again to give him a sibling. Once again, we started with some medicated cycles and to our surprise after one of them we got pregnant! Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage as well. So we did another IUI and got pregnant. In July 2024 we welcomed our second rainbow baby, a baby girl. We have the two most beautiful babies because of Dr. Moore and Conceptions. We have an open adoption with our older daughter and she gets to spend time with her little brother and sister and it is such a special experience seeing them together. 🥰"

We are so grateful we were able to help this cute family grow and grow! Thank you, Sara Jane, for sharing your story and your fertility journey with us!

"We always knew we wanted a family, but could have never anticipated the journey we would have to go on for that to happen. After trying to get pregnant for a year, my OB ran some blood tests and my hormone panel came back with some worrying results. With an insanely high AMH level and thyroid antibodies found, as well as other hormone imbalances, my OB directly referred me to Conceptions Fertility Center where I learned that I had PCOS, as well as Hashimoto's Disease. I felt so blindsided. After getting on medication to lower my thyroid levels, we could finally start fertility treatments. Everyone was so positive about our situation as we started treatment, but round after round of natural cycles failed. We then decided to try IUI. After three rounds of failed IUIs, we made the hard decision to begin our IVF journey. Due to my high AMH level, we were on high alert for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome during the egg retrieval process, but thanks to the most amazing team, we successfully froze 19 embryos, and I didn't get OHSS! The next month we did a frozen embryo transfer that changed our life forever! IVF was so hard, but it was the miracle that led to our precious baby girl - she is the greatest joy of our lives!"

Emily-Jane, thank you so much for sharing your fertility story with us! Fertility journeys look different for everyone, and we're grateful to have been able to help you along yours.

"In 2018, our fertility journey began, and from the start, it was filled with ups and downs. Our very first OBGYN didn’t take my PCOS concerns seriously, leaving us feeling unheard. A year later, we sought a second opinion that led us to a fertility clinic. Encouraged by a friend’s recommendation, we chose Dr. Moore, stepping into this journey with a mix of hope, excitement, and natural anxiety.

We began with months of medicated cycles, and when those didn’t lead to success, we turned to more aggressive IUI cycles. Each attempt brought its own heartache, and every test result felt like a punch to the gut when the answers we needed remained elusive. Eventually, we discovered that surgery might be necessary to address a problematic fallopian tube—and possibly endometriosis—along with moving forward with IVF. That news made us pause and take a breath until we were ready to try again.

In 2023, we summoned our courage and dove back in. I underwent surgery, which resulted in the removal of a fallopian tube and some scar tissue. Then, in April, we had our egg retrieval and were blessed with 7 embryos. Although we lost our first two embryos, we persisted, adjusting our treatment plan and taking our third, double embryo transfer with all the anxiety and hope that comes with such a step. The tension broke when Dr. Moore announced that our best-quality embryo was 100% viable and the second was 95%—a moment that transformed our nervousness into a whole new fear: the fear (and excitement) of twins!

Just weeks later, the confirmation we had longed for arrived: I was pregnant, and soon after, we learned that we were expecting twins. My husband and I are forever grateful to the amazing staff at Conceptions and to Dr. Moore, whose expertise and care turned our challenging journey into the joy of welcoming our little boys, Leo and JJ, who are now nearing 9 months old."

Thank you, Bryce, for sharing your fertility story with us. Every journey is different, with its unique ups and downs. We're so happy that yours brought you to us, and that we were able to help bring your two beautiful babies into this world!
