Travis Wayne Carnes
January 12, 1996 — March 25, 2026
Salina

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Travis Wayne Carnes, who left us on March 25, 2026, in Salina, Oklahoma. Born on January 12, 1996, in Pryor, Oklahoma, Travis lived a vibrant life marked by creativity, humor, and an unwavering love for those dear to him.

Travis was the very essence of joy—the life of every gathering, a soul with a heart of gold who embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm. His laughter filled rooms, and his sharp wit brightened countless days. He was not only funny but also deeply kind, always ready to offer a helping hand or kind word.

A man of many talents, Travis had a profound passion for music. He wrote his own songs and enjoyed rapping. Beyond music, he was a dedicated athlete, excelling in wrestling during his school years, where he earned third place nationally, and he was honored as the Most Valuable Player in basketball. Travis’s competitive spirit was matched only by his hardworking nature; he was devoted to his work, often laboring seven days a week to provide for those he loved.

Family was the cornerstone of Travis’s life. He was a devoted father to his beloved children—Karsyn, Jordynn, and Ava—cherishing every moment spent with them. His pride and joy were his kids and the family he held so close. A dedicated mama’s boy, he treasured his relationship with his mother, Sofia Carnes, and his father, Eddie Carnes. Alongside them were his siblings: Trey Carnes, his best friend and constant companion; Kendal Carnes; Shawnda and her husband Cole Eddleman; and Teisa Carnes. He is also survived by his grandmother, Molly Pashos, as well as uncles Billy Carnes, William Pryor, Jerry Staller, Blake Mouse, and aunts Dina Pashos, Billie Jean Pashos, Maria Scott, and Charlotte Abbs. His extended family included his great grandmother, Pat Carpenter, great aunt Gail Fox and husband Mike, great uncle Mike Carpenter and wife Dianne, great uncle Rod Estep, grandma Sandra Williams and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. as well as a close friend who helped Travis throughout his life, William Lunn.

Travis’s spirit was closely tied to the simple joys of life: spending time at the creek, building things with his hands, and unceasingly helping others whenever he could. These moments reflected the gentle nature and generosity that defined him. Whether through his laughter, his music, or his acts of kindness, Travis touched the lives of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by beloved grandparents Danny Carnes and Rose; great grandpa Otis (Pa) Carpenter; great aunt Cheryl Estep; grandfather Dimintrios Pashos; Uncle Danny Ray Carnes, and great-uncle, Bob Hamilton.

Travis Wayne Carnes leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication. His life, though tragically brief, was full of light and boundless energy—qualities that will forever echo in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his memory be a blessing and a comfort to all who mourn his loss.

Spring Cleanup… Steve-Style 🌱

Around here, titles don’t mean much when there’s work to be done.

If you see a certain “lawn boy” out making sure everything is trimmed, tidy, and ready for spring… yes, that’s Steve Shipman.

Owner, yes.
But more importantly—someone who takes pride in every detail, inside and out.

Because a place that cares for families should always feel just as cared for.

👉 Have you seen him out working? Drop a 👋 in the comments if you have!
