I came from a family of 6, and I am the oldest of 4 kids; I have 2 younger brothers and 1 younger sister. merica. Without knowing the language or the culture, I learned to speak English in a ver non traditional way: from Sesame Street and the Die Hard trilogy. I worked in retail as a sales person/manager/auditor for a total of 13 years. I stood on my feet for 8-10 hrs a day and sometimes have to lift heavy objects. In 2011, I decided to attend culinary art school to become a chef. I was busy with my full time job and attending night classes until midnight. I knew this was not a sustainable way of life, and I destroyed my body because I didn’t do any self care at all. On top of it all, I was exhausted, overweight, weak, and unhappy. So I decide to change my life style, and I moved to Colorado in 2014 to start fresh. I started working as an Experience Director in a fitness facility. By working in the fitness facility, it has helped me to get in shape, but I was having aching problems with my muscles. So little by little, I read about how muscles work and that interested me to know more about the human body. I couldn’t read and watch enough information and videos to learn about how our bodies worked, so I decided to go back to school and be a therapist.
