March is Brain Injury Awareness Month 💚
At Pueblo Speech and Neurological Rehabilitation Center, we see every day how brain injuries can impact communication, cognition, swallowing, and voice. Conditions such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, and other neurological diagnoses can change the way a person speaks, thinks, remembers, and connects with others.
Speech-language pathologists play an important role in recovery by helping individuals rebuild communication skills, improve cognitive function, and regain independence in everyday life.
This month, we recognize the strength and resilience of individuals living with brain injuries and the families who support them. Recovery is possible, and no one should have to navigate it alone.
If you or someone you love is experiencing changes in speech, language, memory, thinking, or swallowing after a brain injury, support is available.
💚 Join us in raising awareness and supporting brain injury survivors in our community.
