“Gaining Independence Through Transition”
Mi Casa Transitional Services Inc. was founded in November of 2017 by Lisa Payne. Along with her husband, Mike Payne, MCTSI provides services to Medicaid members who are currently living in Long Term Care facilities and desire to regain their independence and return to living in their communities.
As a provider for the Colorado Choice Transitions program, MCTSI is able to bring hope and positive change to Medicaid members who may have thought that returning to independent living was not possible.
Lisa Payne has 23 years of experience as an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Occupational Therapy’s primary tenet has been regaining or maintaining independence in all areas of ones life, since it was established in 1917.
As a Colorado native and proponent of independence, she and the staff of MCTSI believe that everyone deserves the best possible care and to live to their fullest potential. If we at MCTSI can successfully transition a person back into the community at their highest level of function, it is a job well done.
