National Men Make Dinner Day

Today’s a fun reminder that when men step up to serve, families grow stronger.

In the Bible, men showed love through action:

Jacob worked years for Rachel — love that endures.

Boaz protected and provided for Ruth — love that honors.

Joseph cared for Mary with quiet strength — love that obeys God.

And Jesus washed His disciples’ feet — love that serves.

At ACPC, our men’s programs echo this truth: real strength is found in service. Whether it’s making dinner, showing up for your family, or leading with humility — every act of love makes a difference.

👨‍🍳 Men, tonight’s your turn at the stove — but it’s more than a meal. It’s ministry.

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church.” – Ephesians 5:25

We had a wonderful time at the CSU Pueblo Health Fair today! It was great to connect with students, staff, and community members while sharing information about the services and support available through ACPC and the ACPC Women’s Clinic. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of an event that promotes wellness and care for our community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table!

⚠️ URGENT: Pueblo County Faces a Food Crisis ⚠️
Right now, 41,000 Pueblo County residents, about 25,000 households, rely on SNAP to put food on the table. Due to the ongoing government shutdown, many will be losing benefits starting November 1, 2025.

Even if the government reopens today, SNAP benefits will still be delayed, worsening food insecurity through the holidays and into the new year. Thousands of working families, seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities will be impacted.
Local partners like United Way Pueblo County, Pueblo County Department of Human Services (DHS), and others are stepping up, but can’t do it alone.

📞 If you or someone you know needs food or resources, call 211 or visit www.211colorado.org.

💛 Here’s how YOU can help:
✅ Donate dollars at https://www.pueblounitedway.org/Help: 100% of donations will go directly to agencies providing food and support for local families.
✅ Volunteer with food pantries and nonprofits offering meals and emergency aid.
✅ Spread the word so others know where to find help.

Together, we can make sure no one in Pueblo County goes hungry. Every act of kindness counts.
