🌟 **A Night of Miracles** 🌟

Last night was a whirlwind of emotions and incredible strength as I had the privilege of being on call for another practice. I spent the night supporting two amazing mamas, each journey unique and inspiring.

✨ The first mama delivered swiftly and beautifully, showing just how powerful she is.

✨ The second mama worked tirelessly for her VBAC, and when she finally held her beautiful daughter, the tears of joy in her eyes brought tears to mine.

There's nothing quite like witnessing these profound moments of resilience and love. It’s an incredible honor to be part of such intimate experiences.

To all the mothers out there, your strength is awe-inspiring! 💖

Welcome to the world to a very precious surprise baby girl! Days of prodromal labor was definitely not your mamas norm! You took to heart the “3rd baby is a wild card”. Had us all worried we wouldn’t make it in time but then we had plenty! All that beautiful dark hair had mama saying and that’s why I had all that reflux!
You are precious and dearly loved by the big crew that have/will be welcoming you.
Happy birthday baby O! Sweet dreams all. This midwife is done with her March babies and I’m going to bed!!

Sitting here tonight totally exhausted from a very busy month of sweet babies and their mamas and families.
But as I sit here and think of all of that, all the sweet boys who have joined us the past couple weeks, actually taking a quick second when I’m doing their checkups to have a quick cuddle and feel their soft little heads. To think of all the work their mamas did bringing them, and their daddy’s did supporting them. I’m just left in awe. Some days it gets routine…
Heart beat checks
Baby weight checks
Newborn screens and making those babies cry 😭
Reassuring moms that they are doing great
That baby will come when she’s ready and it’s ok that it wasn’t tonight.
But then those cuddles. Those moment on the other side of exhaustion. Oh goodness, it’s just so beautiful and I am ever so grateful for all the families that have chosen me to walk that journey with them.
Excuse me while I go have a cry as I go to bed all to late from a messed up sleep schedule, crying happy and exhausted tears of gratitude and love for each and every one of you I have held and will hold through this ever so precious journey!

Glorious VBAC at home in the night. Mama was powerful and daddy was such an incredible support for her. Tears fell for everyone when that sweet baby was in her arms! So proud of her and so proud to provide VBACs at home!

Raining babies!!
Fortunately only one for me so far this week but as I chatted with two of my precious colleagues Monday night all three of us had women in labor!
They were both called out in the night but I got to sleep through.
I tentatively started my office day Tuesday with lots of check in for the mama in early labor. Rushed out of the office mid day to my sweet client and spent the evening/night with her as she welcomed her second son.
Tears from fatigue and all the work but also so much laughter throughout the time together. This couple is so much fun!
On my way home only minutes after leaving their house I see an SUV turn around on the highway and follow me. I said out loud, I hope I’m not getting pulled over, I know I haven’t done anything then …. 🚨!! Dang :/
Turns out I just had a headlight out lol!! Of course this when I recently for the first time ever lost my license 🤣. Thankfully I had an old one and the officer was super nice. I passed 3 more on the way home but thankfully didn’t get pulled over again!
Adventurous day. Today will be rest and recovery 🤣…. And replacing a headlight
