Open MRI of Pueblo is seeking a Part-time/PRN MRI Technologist for evening coverage and to fill in as needed for staff absences. The primary job function of the MRI Technologist is to operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. The technologist is able to select appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware. Qualified candidates must be able to provide the highest quality of medical imaging and care to our patients and perform all job duties in accordance with Center policies, practices, and protocols. This includes helping to resolve day-to-day problems and issues, remaining flexible with staffing levels, assisting in monitoring clinical supply levels so that the Center remains adequately stocked, and ensuring that all quality assurance policies and protocols are followed.

Hours:
Position is PRN and/or Part-Time with the hours being assigned as needed by the Facility Manager and are subject to change based on the business needs of the company.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Licensed Radiological Technologist by the State in which the employee works and pursuant to State requirements for the procedures being performed.
ARRT with MRI certification.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively emote empathy and sensitivity in dealing with patients and their loved ones in a face-to-face setting.
Well organized, efficient, dependable, and accurate when performing duties.
Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and multi-task.

Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Evening shift
