So I wrestled with myself all day whether to post this or not and I know there are people out there who are dealing with the same emotions I have had to deal with. 😢 My Post Traumatic Growth only evolved from leaning into the pain that I had to face everyday without my sweet little man. The stages of grief rip your heart apart on the daily... I had to take baby steps and that's the advise I would give anyone losing their loved one to su***de. Sometimes it's just a day to day accomplishment... sometimes the biggest accomplishment would be to just get out of bed, take a shower, spend sometime outside, spend time with family or friends. Your heart will never heal completely but you will find a new normal. I hope anyone who is dealing with this type of loss to seek council; therapy has been one of the best decisions I have every made, its given me a skill set that I needed to get through my hardest days!
