To every instructor who led with heart.
To every student who walked through the door unsure but left stronger.
To every moment of showing up when it would have been easier not to, thank you.

As we close 2025, we do so grounded, grateful, and ready to carry forward what matters most:
movement as medicine, community as support, and space to simply be.

Last Sunday I listened to someone speak about JOY—how we find it, how we feel it, and how we let it shape us.

In March 2026, I’ll celebrate 11 years of teaching yoga inside this fire station. Eleven years of showing up, breathing together, and finding grounding in a place that sees both the best and the hardest moments of humanity.

Teaching yoga in our city fire stations has always brought me joy. These spaces are real and honest—filled with the joy of helping others, but also the weight of pain and grief.

And somehow, every time we unroll our mats, yoga brings a little light back in. A moment of peace. A reminder to breathe. A spark of joy inside the station.

Grateful for this work, this community, and every firefighter who shows up—on and off the mat. ❤️🧘‍♀️🚒

I’ve struggled to find the words, because the shock still doesn’t feel real…

Kelly, you were my very first yoga student.

The person who made me fall in love with Pueblo.

You brought me all the kids from the East Side to try yoga.
You brought me your friends, your people, your community and you trusted me with all of them.

Your kindness, your presence, and your unwavering support shaped my journey more than you ever knew.

You will be deeply, endlessly missed. 💛

This season, you’ll cross paths with many souls who are quietly holding a lot, some at their edge, some simply trying to breathe through the moment. They may be friends, family, coworkers, teachers, or strangers you meet in passing.

For some, this is a season of light. For others, it’s a season that feels heavy lonely, overwhelming, or tender in ways we cannot see.

In the midst of our own full schedules, we can still choose to move like we do on the mat: with intention, patience, and compassion.
Pause. Breathe. Offer grace.

Remember, your presence, your kindness, your calm energy may be the most meaningful gift someone receives today.
