🫃Born and raised in California, moved to Maui full time in 2005

📚 Attended UC Berkeley on a merit-based scholarship

📜 Earned 2 bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Vision Science

👀 Earned his doctorate degree in optometry from UC Berkeley in 2003

🏐🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Enjoys playing beach volleyball and spending time with his ‘ohana

✨Get to know Dr. Carlys Higuchi✨

Dr Higuchi has been spearheading our Dry Eye Clinics by assessing patients with a baseline dry eye work up and doing IPL treatments.

🤙🏾 Born and raised in Pukalani, Maui and is a Maui High School alumni.

🪵 Earned her B.S. in Exercise Science with a biology minor at Pacific University.

👁️ Earned her Doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry, and completed internships in Oklahoma, Alaska, and Washington.

💛 She enjoys spending time with her ʻohana, yoga, sewing, and is happy to have returned home and serve in her own community.
