💒 When people ask me if I do wedding photography, I kindly admit that it’s not my thing. * We have a photobooth for that, though!
📸 I enjoy doing family photography simply because I’m a people person.
❤️ Birth is my passion. The whole anticipation, in-the-moment beautiful chaos of birth is my passion when the camera is in my hand.
🙏🏼 Birth, for me, confirms the divine detail and leaves me in awe of how amazing our God is.
I am part of a worldwide group of birth photographers, and this year I decided to submit a couple of images into the image contest. As I scrolled through the winners for 2025, the images were phenomenal! I did not win a specific category, but I was so surprised to see my image after the few winners with “Honorable Mention”.
This image was a series of images I took alongside amazing birth workers last year. The mom was a first-time mom who fired her OB in the third trimester because of the mention of a C-section due to the baby being breech. She called on Liberty Midwifery to assist in a home birth. This image is of a mother catching her baby as the baby entered the world.
This image was shared in the birth world, and back in March 2024, I was contacted by Breech Without Borders for use of this image, among others, to be used in a medical manual for midwives studying breech birth around the world.
I don’t usually post my birth images because of the nature of the photo, but this one was worth sharing.
I’m currently not offering photography but family photos because life is busy, but I am booking birth photos after June 2025. If you’re interested and want to see my portfolio, please reach out. I’d love to chat.
