This beautiful wedding dress was displayed during a recent service. A reminder of those special moments and memories clothing can hold.
Dresses, uniforms, or favorite outfits often tell a story that words cannot.
Families are always welcome to bring along meaningful items that reflect their loved one's life and personality.
A big thank you to Teresa at Memories Captured for letting us borrow the dress form to help display it so beautifully.
We are grateful for community connections that allow us to honor lives in such meaningful ways.

Robert Redford, the beloved actor, director, and founder of the Sundance Institute, passed away at 89, quietly in his sleep at his home in Utah. Known for unforgettable performances in films like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, and All the President’s Men, he also won an Academy Award for directing Ordinary People. His passing marks the end of an era, but his influence will be felt for generations in film, art, and activism.

James O. Peters, 85, Town of Pittsfield, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by family. The son of Francis and Iola (Giese) Peters was born September 19, 1939, in Green Bay.
Jim attended Pulaski High School for two years, he then attended and graduated from Premontre High School in 1957. On August 16, 1958, he married Janice Reimer at St. John the Baptist Church, Howard.
Jim enjoyed his early years logging and trucking with his dad. Shortly after marriage, Jim and Janice moved to Flintville, purchased a farm and started to raise their family. Over the years, they added to the farm footprint. In the early 1980’s Jim and his sons started Peters Concrete, a business they built from the ground up. The part of the business he enjoyed the most was rock crushing. Jim cherished his time spent with family; he loved meeting and welcoming new members into the family. Most of all, he loved spending time with his constant companion, Janice.
Jim enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Crivitz and his weekly Monday morning meetings with his coffee clutch group. He was a longtime member of Ss. Edward & Isidore Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a proud Eagle Scout. His once-in-a-lifetime-hunting trip to Africa was a highlight for him. Jim looked forward to his daily phone calls to the boys to see how things were going at the shop. He frequently called his special cousins Jerry and Claire along with many other friends to catch up. He was an avid Packers fan and a season ticket holder.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 67 years, Janice; five children: Jody (Jeff) Beyer, Jack (Barb) Peters, Wh**ey (Janell) Peters, Joe (Amy) Peters, and Duke (Amy) Peters; grandchildren: Jake (Dawn) Beyer, Jessy (Chad) Trinkner, Josh (Jaime) Beyer, Jamey (Joe) Francar, Tori (Joesph) McIntosh, Sam (Lili) Nachtigal, Jenna (Travis) Price, Jared (Bri) Peters, Nate (Abby) Bodart, Morgan Bodart, Alex (Alycia) Zellner, Evan Zellner, Eric (Demi) Peters, Ian Peters, Kayla (Nick) Long, Alli (Nick) Erler, and Emma (Dylan) Williquette; great-grandchildren: Tarver, Paxtyn, Ryker, Harrison, Carter, Tarsi, Emerick, Josie, Lucy, Tegan, Aiden, Everlyn, Jade, Mahlin, Ella, Elias, Jordyn, Jackson, James, Grant, Charlie, Jonah, Violet, Archie, Tanner, and Mavis; sister-in-law, Joanne Reimer; and many nieces, nephews and other family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tony and Mae Reimer; sister, Donna (Pat) Chambers; brother-in-law, Jim Reimer; daughter-in-law, Christine Peters; nephew, Scott Chambers; and niece, Gina Tristani.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Ss. Edward & Isidore Church, 3667 Flintville Rd., Suamico, on Monday, September 22, from 3-7 p.m. with a parish wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Scott Valentyn presiding. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Online condolences may be offered to the Peters family at www.marnochafuneralhome.com or on the Marnocha Funeral Home page.
