Since the annual Circles of Caring Luau was celebrated this week, we decided to enter the National Lentil Festival Parade with a Luau theme! We dressed up the van as a hula girl, complete with grass skirt, coconut bra & a lei.
We were lucky enough to be awarded the Tase T. Lentil award for best use of humor!

Hello Friends of Circles of Caring!

It is Bingo Bucks time of year! For those who don’t know, we play BINGO at Circles of Caring every week. When someone wins, they receive a “bingo buck.” Then twice a year, we ask for donations of things that you were already planning to take to a thrift store, and we set up a yard sale. Our participants then use their Bingo Bucks to buy items that have been donated by you. This is a very popular activity, as many of our participants don’t have the opportunity to go shopping very often!
Some examples of items that have been donated in the past include:

Lotions & other toiletries
Home décor
Stuffed animals
Trinkets
Games
Crafts & supplies
Hair accessories
Bags, purses & wallets
Paper/school supplies

Please bring anything you’d like to donate to Circles of Caring before May 10, 2024 (588 SE Bishop Blvd., Suite D).

Items that are left over will then be taken to a local thrift store.
We appreciate your support & your kindness! You are also welcome to share this with others!

Are you in the middle of Spring Cleaning?

Circles of Caring is excited to announce our upcoming Bingo Bucks Prize Selection Event on Monday, May 19th!
Do you have gently used items that you would normally donate to a thrift store? Please consider bringing them to Circles of Caring instead! Each week, our participants play BINGO, and when they win, they earn tally marks that eventually add up to “bingo bucks.” Twice a year, we host a special prize event where they can “shop” for second-hand items using their bingo bucks.
This May, our participants will have the chance to find meaningful gifts for friends and loved ones – or for themselves, thanks to the generosity of community members like you!
If you would like to donate, please drop off items at Circles of Caring by Thursday, May 15th. Thank you!
