What a fun-filled day at the carnival visiting Mr. Smiley over at the Life Care Center! We enjoyed all the excitement, laughter, and sweet moments together while spending time with familiar friends. Mr. Smiley truly brought so much joy to the day with his big smile and wonderful spirit! From carnival fun to great conversations, today was all about making memories and sharing smiles together. Tonight at The Meridian at Punta Gorda Isles we brought the flavors of the South to life with our Southern Fair Dinner Club! Residents enjoyed a delicious evening filled with comfort food, laughter, and great company featuring Black Eyed Pea & Pork Soup, Fried Green Tomatoes, Classic Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Homemade Baked Mac & Cheese, Southern Collard Greens, Honey Butter Cornbread, and a sweet Peach Cobbler à la Mode to top it all off. Nothing brings people together quite like a home-cooked Southern meal shared with friends!

Nothing beats a beautiful day spent outside with great company! We enjoyed a lovely walk with Bud and stopped by our veggie garden to pick some delicious cherry tomatoes fresh off the vine. We even went around the community sharing some with everyone! A few of our managers came by to check out all the amazing progress in the garden and got to try some for themselves. It’s wonderful watching our garden and friendships continue to grow together.
