🌟Fun Fact Friday🌟

The average person goes to therapy for 5 months, per episode of treatment.

Maybe they’ll go for an issue, feel better and then take a break for a while before something else comes up that sends them back into therapy.

This revolving door often has to do with unresolved trauma that is blocking them from being able to heal and actually put those tools to use.

Then there’s other methods like EMDR where the person has to tell their trauma story over and over in an effort to reprocess the event but feeling overwhelming emotions during the process.

TCM is the opposite of these modalities. The emphasis is on NOT reliving events or experiencing unpleasant emotions. Instead we use what we know about neuroscience and neuroplasticity to work smarter; not harder. Resulting in an uplifting and fun experience.
