Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Yesterday was National Alzheimer's Awareness Day, and it’s a great time to discuss a related concern: falling. Slips and falls might seem minor, but they become more dangerous as we age. Weakening muscles and bones make even small falls serious, and this risk is higher for those with Alzheimer's due to memory challenges and confusion. Learn more about the dangers of falling and how you can better support your loved ones by clicking the link below.

Today is National Concussion Awareness Day, a crucial time to boost our understanding of concussions and their impact. Did you know that each year in the U.S., between 1.6 and 3.6 million recreational and sports-related concussions occur? Alarmingly, 90% of these happen without any loss of consciousness, meaning they often go unnoticed. Proper diagnosis and treatment are vital to prevent further injury, especially since 40% of athletes return to play too soon. Let’s come together to raise awareness and support those affected through community events and online conversations. Learn more and get involved: https://concussion.org/news/national-concussion-awareness-day/

National Concussion Awareness Day on September 20 is an opportunity to start a conversation and increase concussion awareness.
