It’s 70 degrees but I’m a grandma and need a fuzzy blanket at work. Anyways… I’m excited to announce that we are now offering prescription compounded topicals.

What this means? More customization 👏🏻
By utilizing a compounding pharmacy, I have the ability to customize prescriptions. Example.. tretinoin (retinoic acid) can be really irritating to the skin, but now we have to ability to have a retinoic acid/hyaluronic acid prescribed— to reduce dryness and irritation effects 😊

I didn’t try in high school. I didn’t get into RN school. I came up a few points shy on my entrance exam score. I went to LPN school.. graduated.. started my ASN a few weeks later. I went back for my BSN the following year. After working in virtually 600 areas of nursing— NICU, behavioral health, trauma ER, corrections, PCU, dialysis, long-term care, urgent care.. I thought I’d never find my calling. Med Spa nurses needed in this area? Forget it. I went to esthetics school, graduated, then started my MSN. I brought my books with me to the hospital when I was in labor. Didn’t open them, but who does that? 🤣 trying to get into this specialty was HARD. Shadowing opportunities in cosmetic nursing locally? LOL. So I put in the work and opened my own business. I grew it slowly. I invested in one on one trainings. I learned slowly and was practical. I left bedside nursing one year after opening my business. I found “my people.” The moral of the story? Don’t give up, my ladies. ✌🏼
