We could not be more excited to welcome Marnie to the Mountain View Therapy Group team!
Marnie is a compassionate, client-centered therapist dedicated to helping individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered on their journey toward healing. She earned her Master of Education in Community Counseling from The College of William and Mary and brings a breadth of experience working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Her background includes work in outpatient, residential, and primary care settings, supporting clients across the lifespan—from children to older adults.
As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), Marnie is passionate about providing culturally responsive care that honors each client’s unique background and lived experiences. She creates a warm, welcoming space where clients can show up authentically and feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Marnie believes that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and works collaboratively with each client to develop an approach that aligns with their needs, values, and goals. At the heart of her work is the belief that meaningful therapy happens within a safe, trusting, and nonjudgmental relationship.
Marnie’s therapeutic style is collaborative, flexible, and personalized. She integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring each session to what feels most helpful and effective. She also offers faith-based counseling for clients who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process.
Marnie is deeply committed to helping individuals cultivate resilience, discover their strengths, and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling.
