Hero Dogs Fiona and her veteran are helping to spread awareness about su***de prevention and the resources available to those struggling. ⁣
⁣
Not only is it the start of National Su***de Prevention Week, but today, 9/8, is the inaugural "988 Day"—aimed at promoting the mental health resource which provides free, confidential access to trained crisis counselors 24/7.⁣
⁣
Anyone can call 988 for help. Veterans can reach the Veterans Crisis Line by pressing option 1 after dialing 988. There’s no judgement. Just help.
