The cost of operating a small, locally owned physical therapy and wellness practice continues to rise each year—payroll, insurance, utilities, supplies, and continuing education. At the same time, insurance reimbursement rates continue to decrease, meaning we’re often asked to deliver more while being paid less.
Before expanding services, adding providers, or launching new programs, the bar to simply operate responsibly keeps moving higher.
