July is International Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, a time to honor and support families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby or child. To recognize this, the Joanie & Tom Adler Bereavement Programs at University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s and Rainbow Babies & Children’s hospitals, along with the Auxiliary of University Hospitals, hosted the Third Annual Remembrance Walk at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo — a special event that brings together families, friends, and hospital staff to remember and celebrate the lives of these precious children.

We were there for our sweet granddaughter, Olivia Greer Helden — “Livvy”, who was born still on February 5th.

We walked with Livvy’s parents, Max and Erin, her big sister Ava, her Nana and Pops, and many wonderful friends who came out to show love and support for Erin and Max. It was a beautiful morning — full of connection, remembrance, and community — and we truly enjoyed spending time together at the zoo with other families who understand the depth of this journey.

Thank you for keeping Livvy in your hearts and for the continued love you’ve shown our family. We’re so grateful.

📍 Location: Fairfax
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2 hours/day between 11 AM and 3 PM
💬 Role: Support a wonderful 90+ year-old woman with light lunch help and friendly companionship. No personal care involved — just meaningful connection.

💵 Pay: $27/hour
📅 Start Date: Immediately
📋 Requirements: Background check and driver’s history will be run

🔹 Caregivers (typically from home care agencies) are trained to provide hands-on care like bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence support. These services are essential for those with physical care needs.
