Just look at my client Cheryl and her “Cape” -a super-hero cape. Yes, these two rock the eventing competitions. But this is after Cheryl had been told she had just a few months to live due to stage IV metastatic melanoma spreading through her lungs, liver, and lymph nodes. How, you ask? Cheryl turned out to be a “super-responder” according to the expert researchers conducting a clinical trial of a treatment that saved her life. Moving to a new farm can be stressful for a horse. Thankfully Rumi has a lovely new home with some friendly new pasture mates. Massage, stretches, and soothing energy can also provide great relief from anxiety. Rumi was happy to see a familiar face and know that “Aunt Janet” is always there for him.
