🌨️ Storm Response Recap 🚑

Throughout the entire storm, PVVAC had members in-house and ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Our members covered every call that came in, ranging from motor vehicle accidents to cardiac emergencies, despite extremely challenging road conditions.

Thanks to the outstanding work of the Town and County Highway Departments, our ambulances were able to safely reach patients and transport them to the hospital without delay. Their tireless efforts keeping roads passable made a real difference in our ability to serve the community.

We’re proud of our volunteers who stepped up, stayed overnight, and answered every call when the weather was at its worst. Thank you to our crews, our highway partners, and our community for working together to keep Putnam Valley safe.

🚑 Storm Coverage Notice 🌧️❄️

We currently have a crew in-house and ready to roll for the duration of the storm. Our members are standing by to respond to emergencies as safely and quickly as possible.

We ask residents to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Fewer cars mean safer travel for everyone — especially emergency vehicles responding when seconds matter.

Please take a moment to subscribe to the Town’s Emergency Alert System so you receive real-time updates, road closures, and safety information during severe weather. Available on the town website.

Your cooperation helps keep our community and responders safe. Stay warm, stay put, and stay safe. 💙

Sending Love to Florence 💐

Our community is lucky to know Florence, a truly remarkable woman who is nearly 108 years young. We’ve learned that she hasn’t been feeling well, and her family has asked that we share a message of love and support.

If you’re able, please take a moment to keep Florence in your thoughts, prayers, or positive intentions. Let’s surround her and her family with the warmth and care that define our town.

🚑 Storm Response Update 🚑
Throughout last night and into this morning, our crews have been responding to multiple 911 calls as the storm moved through the area.
If you must travel, please use extreme caution. Roads remain slick in spots, visibility can change quickly, and it’s important to slow down and allow extra time to get where you’re going safely.
❄️ Plows are out working hard — please give them plenty of space. The more room they have to operate, the better and safer job they can do for everyone.
Thank you for doing your part to keep yourself, your neighbors, and our responders safe.
