Yesterday Matulaitis residents bowled for a chance for the gold!
B wing got the gold, A wing took silver and D wing came home with the bronze.
It was also Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras. Residents enjoyed king cakes and watched some YouTube footage of Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

Matulaitis residents are still participating in Olympic events here! Monday was ring toss.
B wing took the gold, C wing snatched the silver and D wing came in clutch with enough points for the bronze.

The 4 wings of Matulaitis are continuing to compete for medals during the Winter Olympics.
This was pool noodle javelin.
A Wing got the gold, C Wing with the silver and D Wing with the bronze.

Matulaitis residents helped commemorate the opening ceremony of the 2026 winter Olympics by recreating "the passing of the torch" on each wing.
Our first opening game was trivia.
B wing got the gold, followed by D wing with the silver and A wing with the bronze.

What a week so far here at Matulaitis.
Residents got to enjoy coffee and company with fellow veterans, who come every 2nd Tuesday of the month, our version of Veterans Coffee House.
Then our female residents, men are still welcome, enjoy a spa experience manicure.
Recreation files, cleans and paints their nails while they listen to soothing music in the lounge.
