🚧 ROADS UPDATE – APRIL 13, 2026 🚧
Regular Trash Pickup Update
The weight limit on Senachwine Township roads will be lifted starting April 13, 2026.
Republic curbside trash service will resume regular pickup on April 13, 2026.

The Lake Thunderbird Association Board of Directors is disappointed to inform you that our Lake Manager, TJ Tieman, resigned this morning effective immediately. TJ shared that that during this 90-day initial period, he realized that his career goals do not align with this role.

Paul Byrd will assume the position of acting Lake Manager until a new one is in place. Please contact him at lakemanager@lakethunderbird.us.

The Board is committed to helping our staff support the community, as they have so capably done in the past. We ask for your support during this time.

🚧 ROADS POSTED – EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1 🚧
Trash Pickup Update
Due to weight limits being posted on Senachwine Township roads, Republic curbside trash pickup will end after Tuesday, January 27.
🗑️ Large dumpsters for household trash ONLY will be delivered on January 27 and placed in front of the maintenance shop.
❌ Not accepted in dumpsters:
* Auto parts
* Furniture
* Electronics
* Landscaping materials
* Building or construction materials
📹 Please note: The area is under video surveillance. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in a violation and/or fine.

Office Closed Monday & Tuesday

The office will be closed Monday December 15th & Tuesday December 16th due to continued Clubhouse lower-level renovations necessitating the closure of all clubhouse bathrooms.
The office staff will still be reachable via the office phone number (815)854-5095.

The lake is approximately one foot below normal lake levels which increases the possibility of shoreline damage.

For this reason, we are going to yellow flag the lake effective 10/15/2025 in order to protect both common and private property shorelines.

*Yellow flag means the entire lake is designated as no wake until further notice.

Our team has completed the repair and water service has been restored. There is no boil order required for this incident.
