Who would've thought your ankles would be the problem?

If your ankles can't move the way they're supposed to, then your body compensates up the chain. Meaning that knees cave in, hips shift, and your lower back takes over.

Your body isn't my body so generic squat cues won't fix an ankle mobility issue that's been building for years. That's why we assess these movements during our evaluations.

If your knees hurt when you squat, lunge, or run, try this inline lunge test.

Most people get told to strengthen their quads or stretch their hip flexors, but if your body can't stabilize through a basic movement pattern like this, those exercises won't fix the root cause.
