Access to naturopathic medical care is at a critical moment. Naturopathic doctors complete four years of accredited medical training and serve our communities through primary care, prevention, and integrative medicine. There is currently federal legislation that could impact the professional recognition and educational standing of licensed naturopathic physicians. This matters not only for providers, but for patients who value comprehensive, root-cause–focused care and expanded healthcare options. If you feel comfortable, I encourage you to review the information in the link below and consider submitting a respectful public comment. Thoughtful engagement helps ensure that policymakers understand the important role naturopathic doctors play in supporting public health.
Founded in 1985, the AANP represents licensed naturopathic doctors, students, and allied healthcare professionals nationwide.
