Dear Valued Patients,
I want to share an important update regarding the doctors at East Main Vision Clinic (EMVC) and the future of my practice.
Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of introducing you to two associate doctors who joined the clinic with the shared intent of becoming long-term members of the practice. After thoughtful conversations, they have decided that the vision and timeline for ownership do not best align with their personal and professional goals. As a result, they will be transitioning away from EMVC.
Beginning February 6th, I will return to full-time patient care, 24/7 emergency visits, and leading the clinic exclusively as the founder and owner.
For over 35 years, I have proudly served this community and remain deeply committed to providing the same high-quality, compassionate eye care you have come to expect. My dedication to patients, attention to detail, and long-standing relationships within the community continue to be the cornerstone of my passion and vision.
While change can be difficult, please know that the care you receive—and the team you trust—remains strong. My experienced team will continue to support me and ensure your visits are seamless, welcoming, and attentive throughout this transition.
I am truly grateful for the trust you place in our clinic and for the relationships we share. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I am always happy to speak with you.
🔹I do want to address the one question that I know is lingering for many of you; retirement is on the horizon, but not for several years.🔹
Thank you for allowing me to care for you and your vision. I look forward to continuing to serve you.
With appreciation,
Dr. Joseph Day
